The characteristics of this photograph is that it was take a long time ago and also because it was a long time ago it has a sepia effect on the photo and how it was developed. There is a lot of tone in this photo because of the development of the photo. You can also see the texture of the photo as well and its quite grainy. I think that its over exposed because its quite a dark photograph.

The characteristics of this photograph is that it has a grey tone to it because of the time it was developed. Its just a simple portrait because it has the whole of the head and also the shoulders. The image has tone and you can see this in the light and dark part mainly on the face. You can see where the light was shinning from because of the brightness on one side of the face and the graduation of darker on the other side.  

 The characteristics of this photograph is that its in black and white and that's because of the time it was developed. The image is exposed just right because you have a good balance of dark and light in the image. This is a group photo because there are two people in the photo and also its a double portrait because it has both heads and both shoulders in the image. There is also a lot of tone and texture in this photograph.






The characteristics of the photograph is that it has an orange / brown effect on the photo because of the time it was developed. Its also a portrait because you can see the hole of the head and also the shoulders. The centre of the face is quite bright and so is the hair due the to lighting shinning from one side and then it gradually becoming darker. You can see the tone and texture in this photograph.
